Ivan and I met in 2012 in Uni. We always believed in growing as individuals and as a couple, so this was definitely worth the wait. We are both working as Registered Nurses in Australia and enjoy traveling.

We fell in love with Tasmania and knew that it is the perfect wedding destination for us. The day was everything we dreamed of!

The team at Jenny & Gerry’s and Ignition for men were lovely and we enjoyed our wedding preparations with them.

Wade and I met on Facebook 5 years ago. He lived in Sandalwood South Australia and at the time I was living in Kapunda. I was soon doing regular visits to Wade on the farm and it was getting harder and harder to leave after each weekend spent there. I slowly started leaving things and roughly a year later, Wade and I talked about me moving in with him on the farm. So, I began the process of finding a new job closer to him and eventually made the move.

It was Christmas Eve 2020, I had cooked tea and Wade got up and came back holding something in his hand. I was sitting on the lounge when he said, “If you can catch it, you can keep it”. I laughed and said “I’m keeping it either way” and laughed. Well in that box was an engagement ring and of course i said yes! Wade and I can be very different in the way that I am quite loud and outgoing, and he is quieter and more reserved.
We had a small country wedding in Karoonda South Australia. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day weather wise, the sun was shining, and we were surrounded by our families and friends.

I bought my dress from Jenny and Gerry’s it was so perfect loved the dress so much, as did everyone! My partner and groomsmen bought their suits from Ignition for Men, and they looked fabulous! We all had the best day ever, loved every minute of the whole day.

Our story began on Territory Day in Darwin. Many adventures later we are now happily married.
