Leading up to our day was stressful as we had already postponed it once due to COVID 19. I personally was not able to enjoy the lead up as I was always constantly thinking if we were going to have to postpone it again.
Finally, the day was here and couldn’t have been anything more than what we dreamed of. Our day turned out to be magical as the weather was perfect and we were surrounded by our family and friends who came to celebrate our union as one. Our ceremony was personalised to who we are as people, we had two lanterns one for each of our dads: we lit candles and placed in, both our mother’s gave us away and finally we had our wedding rings passed around to our loved ones, so they could give us a little prayer and well wishes. They were all passed onto our children to hold and make a prayer. Another highlight was butterflies were flying around in the park so we both knew our dads were present.
The service and Jenny and Gerry’s was amazing and welcoming. Mary made me and bridal party feel comfortable and we were never without a laugh. Mary listened to what I wanted in a dress and as we were walking around picking different dresses off the rack it was then that I found my dress. The very last dress that Mary picked up, I was in awe and gasped and it was then that I knew it was the one. Mary included my bridal party (including one via skype) and mother in law via skype in our conversations, she never made anyone feel left out. When Mary suggested a veil, it just made it complete. I would highly recommend Jenny and Gerry’s Bridal to all my friends.
