I (Danielle) grew up in a small country town who’s biggest event of the year was the local Ag show and it was here back in 2015 that Damian and I were introduced by a mutual friend and the rest they say is history.
We have been together ever since, have collected many animals and covered many miles across Australia for both work and play.
We have finally settled in Naracoorte, SA, on a small property, which we bought in 2021 and I remember when we first drove around the farm I saw this most magnificent and symmetrical red gum tree and I said to myself, if we ever get married, it’s going to be there. Later in 2021 Damian proposed by a bonfire surrounded by our dogs and finally in March 2024 we got married under that big old gum tree. It provided the perfect backdrop and beautiful shade for our wonderful guests to enjoy.
My beautiful Essence of Australia dress was the perfect showstopper to surprise our guests, but also so elegant amongst our country backdrop. Shopping at Jenny & Gerry’s Bridal House was so easy, the ladies made me feel so comfortable in a strange environment for myself who never dresses up! And they were so easy to deal with and great communication around when the dress would arrive and getting it to the seamstress.
She was a gorgeous dress and it was the most wonderful day. We had the best time!
